Overview

ITT Inc. is looking for an Applications Technical Support Analyst to join their team. The Applications Technical Support Analyst will manage, design, and support services related to the engineering software applications used within the organization. The successful candidate should have a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field or a high school diploma with 10 years of experience in a similar role. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and grow in this role. U.S. Citizenship is required for this position. 



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve issues with Engineering applications and monitor ServiceNow queue.
  • Manage large multi-departmental projects with end users, other IT teams &, vendors, to design/ improve the architecture, operational standards, and practices of the IT engineering team!
  • Understand and manage the engineering software applications role in the business.  Provide technical support for the software from troubleshoot, installation and upgrade of off the self-software Develop best practices and collaborate with other team members.  
  • Provides guidance and consultation on applications and related services to other departments. This will include use of software, licensing, cost, and customization.
  • Effectively utilize company standard incident remediation system to assign, prioritize, track, and remediate incidents, tasks, and end user requests.
  • Work independently to resolve issues, while understanding when to involve other IT support functions such as data center and networking.


Qualifications



Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar is preferred; High school diploma with 10+ years of experience is required.
  • Excellent customer service, project management, and communication skills are required.
  • Highly tuned technical problem solving, and analytical skills are a must.
  • Must have experience with license management for various software.
  • Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity to work with a global user base.
  • Experience with the following software is preferred:
        • AutoDesk CAD/PLM
        • PTC Creo and Windchill
        • Cimco
        • Geomagic
        • ANSYS Software
  • Experience is ServiceNow ticket system is preferred
  • Experience working in a large company or engineering/manufacturing preferred
