Responsibilities

As the Program Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager of Engineer & Program Management.  You will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects within our innovative preservation solutions division.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure alignment with client expectations and business objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular communication on project status, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.  Significant relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Proven experience in project management in the food processing or preservation industry, strongly perferred.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Project Management Professional certification, strongly preferred

Travel & Location

  • 15-25% required to travel to various JBT and/or customers’ sites inside and outside of the U.S

 

COMPENSATION RANGE: $115,000.00-$125,000.00. Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
