Overview

We are seeking a highly motivatedWestern Regional Sales Managerto drive business development and sales growth for ourhighly engineered and precision Radio Frequency (RF) connectorswithin theAerospace and Defenseindustries. This individual will be responsible for expanding our market presence, cultivating strong relationships with medium to large aerospace and defense customers, and ensuring our RF solutions are effectively integrated into their systems. 

The ideal candidate has deep industry expertise, a strong technical understanding of RF connectors, and an established network within the defense and aerospace sectors. This position is offered as a remote role with 50% or more travel requirements. 



Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Sales Strategy 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Western U.S. aerospace and defense markets. 
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue growth targets. 
  • Expand the company’s presence in key accounts and penetrate new markets. 
  • Customer Relationship Management 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, procurement teams, and executives at medium to large aerospace and defense firms. 
  • Understand customer needs, product applications, and technical requirements for RF connectivity solutions. 
  • Provide expert consultation on RF connector integration into aerospace and defense systems. 
  • Technical Sales & Support 
  • Leverage technical knowledge to articulate the value of our RF connector solutions. 
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions for customers. 
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations. 
  • Market & Competitive Analysis 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity. 
  • Provide market feedback to the product development team to support innovation. 
  • Collaboration & Reporting 
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to ensure customer success. 
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records. 
  • Report on key performance indicators and sales metrics to senior leadership. 


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Business, or a related field(preferred). 
  • Willingness to travel50%+within the Western U.S. 
  • Experience: 
  • Minimum of5-10 years of sales and business development experiencein RF connectors or related components. 
  • Strong relationships and sales experience with medium to largeAerospace & Defensecompanies. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. 
  • Technical Knowledge: 
  • Deep understanding ofRF connectors, and their applications in aerospace and defense systems. 
  • Familiarity with military and aerospace standards related to RF connectivity. 
  • Skills & Competencies: 
  • Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases. 
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling approach.
