JOB DESCRIPTION

This position supports sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams floorcovering store and coordinates all aspects of floorcovering installation through independent contractors to service wholesale floorcovering customers. In this role, you will assist in identifying floorcovering installers, schedule installation, and ensure installation is conducted consistent with expectations. The individual selected for this role will be based at Store #5327, located at: 161 Abby Road Manchester, NH 03103
Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Branch Manager in developing and implementing an Installation plan to help meet the stores budgeted sales and profit goals.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately measured and cut and records are properly maintained according to the customers’ specifications.
  • Assist in coordinating sales of homebuilder non-floorcovering products with S-W paint stores.
  • Perform on-site inspections of installations and work with customers to receive payments, problem solve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project.
  • Recruit/perform/direct the coordination and scheduling of all installations and ensure installers properly represent Sherwin-Williams while preserving their status as independent subcontractors.
  • Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
  • Deliver a wide variety of Floorcovering related items to different addresses and through different routes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent
  • Be legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future.
  • Have a valid and unrestricted driver's license, and an acceptable driving record from the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
  • Must meet state specific driver’s license class requirements
  • Be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to measure and cut carpeting and vinyl floorcovering.
  • Have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (ME Certificate) from a Department of Transportation (DOT) licensed ""medical examiner"" listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. If you are selected for this position and do not have a current ME Certificate, you must be able to obtain one within five business days of receiving a conditional offer of employment.
