Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions
  • Creates and processes all new and returning student academic records.
  • Researches student academic records to determine accurate student status.
  • Creates, enters, and updates new and returning student academic records in the CRM (SLATE) and Banner.
  • Ensures accuracy of information between Banner and SLATE in regards to academic records.
  • Processes transcripts, test scores, and other documentation received via mail or electronically and inputs into student academic records.
  • Compiles weekly statistical reports on academic records created and processed.
  • Researches accrediting status of students prior colleges.
  • Determines initial residency status at the time of application.
  • Images, uploads, indexes, and verifies student records for electronic storage.
  • Determines academic status on new and returning student records.
  • Works closely with all areas of admissions understanding the basic admission requirements for each student type.
  • Corresponds with students via phone, email, and in person about status of academic file.
  • Ensures duplicates are not created by searching student information system and the CRM.
  • Determines if application fee payments or complete change of entry term forms are needed.
  • Answers telephone and assists the public in a professional and articulate manner.
  • Ensures each student has an activated communication plan.
  • Accurately maintains student academic records.
  • Supervises student assistants to include assigning duties and checking work.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
  • Related duties as required.
