Crane Currency has an immediate opening for an internal Crane Currency candidate for a Guillotine Operator based in Malta.

In Your New Role You’ll:

• Cuts sheets to meet specification and manages work to ensure production volumes and performance are maintained.
• Takes ownership and leads immediate team to achieve performance and quality as best as possible.
• Ensures bank notes are cut to size and meet specification.
• Uses Quick Scan to record all size and measurement.
• Adopts due diligence to avoid waste.
• Liaises with the single note examiner to ensure specifications are being met.
• Effectively hands over to the shouldering shift.
• The above list is not complete. You will be required to undertake other duties to support the needs of the Company.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

• O Level standard in preferably English, Maltese and Mathematics
• Two years’ experience on guillotine preferred
• Paper handling experience
• Exhibits a positive attitude and initiative.
• Must have motivation and interpersonal skills.
• Have a respectable work history with minimal attendance and lateness issues.
