A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Cloud Administrator. You will be responsible for providing support for users, onboarding, provisioning, maintaining, and managing cloud resources for agency customers on multiple networks, as well as designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems, infrastructure, and services.
In this job you will:
  • Define, analyze, and translate customer needs and constraints into technical requirements and solutions for the Enterprise.
  • Design, implement, debug, and execute initiatives related to the target cloud environment.
  • Manage and enhance user access and utilization.
  • Provide Tier 1-3 support for all supported systems, environments, and customers.
  • Identify, collect, analyze, and present performance and utilization metrics.
  • Draft and maintain support, administration, and architectural documentation.
  • Install, operate, maintain, and secure IT system software, troubleshoot issues, configure network components, implement enhancements, improve reliability and performance.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Custom, Open Source, Commercial-off-the-Shelf, and Government-off-the-Shelf enterprise applications in a cloud environment.
  • Evaluate, select, and recommend appropriate cloud services, tools, architectures, and technologies to support and optimize enterprise systems.
  • Implement, support, and maintain DevOps/DevSecOps Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Configure and manage cloud services on AWS in the Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability (JWCC) environment.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and all related processes (i.e. Assessment & Authorizations, Change Requests, Disaster Recovery (DR) / Continuity of Operations (COOP), etc.).
  • Install, configure, secure, and manage *NIX and Windows-based Virtual Machines.
  • Use AWS and Linux tools to automate processes and maintain the automation.
  • Experience with STIG and vulnerability remediation.
  • Familiarity with AWS CLI.
  • Work closely with multiple teams of Developers, Engineers, and Administrators to optimize systems, resolve performance issues, address software defects, improve design, and support application enhancements.
  • Support the testing, review, approval, and implementation of system modifications.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support for a cross functional team through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Optimize resource performance, utilization, and costs.
  • Implement security best practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of cloud-based systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve security vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Configure and optimize network performance.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track the health and performance of cloud resources.
  • Set up alerts for key metrics and events.
  • Configure and manage cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Implement backup and data retention strategies.
  • Evaluate systems and infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement
  • Test and ensure the effectiveness of business continuity measures.
  • Create and maintain documentation for supported systems and infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant Computing Environment (CE) Certification Required (i.e. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, RedHat Certified System Administrator, etc.).
  • DoD 8570/8140 IATII or better Certification Required. (i.e. Security+ CE, SSCP, CND, GSEC, GICSP, CCNA-Security, etc.).
  • Three (3+) years' experience as a Cloud Administrator and/or Engineer supporting DevOps / DevSecOps for Enterprise Information Systems.
  • Three (3+) years' DoD System Administration and Engineering experience, preferably for a mixed environment of both Windows and Linux-based systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency providing Systems Engineering and Administration support within a Government Cloud environment (i.e. GovCloud, Commercial Cloud Services (C2S), Joint Warfighter Cloud Capability (JWCC), etc.).
  • Cloud-based virtualization experience (VMWare, Docker, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting software CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices in software development and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Understanding of DoD policies, directives, and initiatives as they relate to custom application development (i.e. DoD Risk Management Framework (DoDRMF), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Section 508 Compliance, etc.).
  • Strong coordination, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Top Secret
Salary Range:
  • The salary range of this position is $90,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
