At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. In support of a government client. we are seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer - Mid. with experience in supporting a government client.

 

Job Duties: 

The Test Engineer will establish test procedures and coordinate testing of products under development.

-Validation/Verification: Drafting and reviewing test reports to ensure compliance with technical requirements. Verification of technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to system specifications. Validating T&E activities to confirm the effectiveness of the procedures and outcomes. Ensuring and operational effectiveness of Military Interoperability (MI) developed to support equipment at MCTSSA. 

- Equipment Management Support: Conducting routine maintenance activities on all supported equipment to ensure functionality and readiness. Managing equipment inventory to track the availability, status, and condition of all supported systems. 

- Firmware Testing: Performing firmware upgrades to evaluate performance improvements and compatibility and assessing firmware characterization for behavior, functionality, and impact on equipment performance. 

- Equipment Analysis and Troubleshooting: Conducting analysis of equipment to identify potential issues, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. Performing testing to troubleshoot and resolve issues with supported equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. Drafting, staffing, and submitting CDRLs for Government review. 

 

Education: 

- BS (Engineering Field)

- DAU Foundational (Engineering & Technical Management) core equivalency 

- 3-6 years work related experience

- Understanding of applicable DoD and USMC Test and Evaluation (T&E) policies and methodologies, including test planning, execution, data collection, and analysis. Working knowledge of Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT), and Integrated Test and Evaluation (ITE); Developmental T&E standards and SOPs relevant to technical support and equipment management. 


 Specific Responsibilities:

- BS (Engineering Field)

- (3-6) years work related experience

- DAU Foundational (Engineering & Technical Management) core equivalency 

- Minimum Clearance Required: SECRET

- Understanding of applicable DoD and USMC Test and Evaluation (T&E) policies and methodologies, including test planning, execution, data collection, and analysis. Working knowledge of Developmental Testing (DT), Operational Testing (OT), and Integrated Test and Evaluation (ITE); Developmental T&E standards and SOPs relevant to technical support and equipment management.

The employee may on occasion lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
