Overview

Sev1Tech is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Writer at the Junior level to join our Army Tactical Network IPS team on-site in Aberdeen MD. As a Junior Technical Writer, you will play a vital role in creating clear and concise documentation for technical processes, products, and systems.

Responsibilities: 

• Applies working knowledge of technical literature and various style guides, including customer specifications, to documentation and publication standards.
• Participates in developing and maintaining technical manuals.
• Assists with the validation/verification, discrepancy/deficiency resolution, and accuracy/adequacy assessment of technical manual requirements.

• Must have a SECRET level clearance
• Associate's degree or advanced degree from an accredited academic institution or military school in English or Journalism
• Minimum of 1 year of professional technical writing experience producing technical documentation on programs supporting projects of similar scope and complexity to this requirement.
