We are currently looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs and cleaning, to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional. Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.
Position Summary:
The warehouse manager leads our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient handling, storage, and dispatching of industrial construction materials and equipment. This strategic role is key to maintaining a streamlined supply chain that supports Sterling’s field operations and project delivery.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including staffing, inventory management, safety compliance, and logistics coordination.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize warehouse productivity and accuracy.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including scheduling, inspection, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and field teams to forecast material needs and align inventory accordingly.
• Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and space utilization.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and corporate safety policies.
• Drive improvements in warehousing technologies and recommend solutions for automation and process enhancement.

• In-depth understanding of industrial materials, logistics, and inventory management.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong focus on safety, quality control, and continuous process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience managing warehouse operations in an industrial or construction setting is required.
• OSHA 30 and forklift certifications highly desirable.
Physical Demands
• Travel will be required to attend trainings and meetings
• Ability to sit or stand for entire shift
• Occasionally required to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, and climb
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federals, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
