Job Summary
UK HealthCare Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to provide daily coverage for assigned sports at Morehead State University.
The Athletic Trainer’s primary job responsibility is to provide injury assessment, rehabilitation and prevention to student-athletes at assigned contracted schools. Game and event coverage will be required as assigned, and travel is required. This position will also be involved in education of coaches, parents, and athletes pertaining to pertinent sports medicine topics. Athletic trainer will maintain close communication with coaches, athletic directors, physicians and other medical professionals.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
NATA BOC Certification required & KBML Licensure eligible at time of hire.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
4 years of experience preferred.
