Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for software build/release management, deployment to our servers, and for the maintenance, security, and uptime of our production environment. Builds will be done in a Linux environment, and will require interfacing with our source control system. 
  • Maintenance and update of build automation scripts and performance tuning
  • Monitoring the state of our servers, identifying/mitigating vulnerabilities, running migrations, and health/performance monitoring
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports on server activity
  • Backup and restoration of instances and databases as necessary


Qualifications



  • Strong shell scripting skills are a must, knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Experience with source code management and build systems such as Git and Jenkins
  • Experience with infrastructure management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform is required
  • Database Administration and SQL experience are required.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, security and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a high availability production environment is desirable.

Helpful but not required:

  • Experience with Asterisks, Docker, Datadog and or Rundeck is a plus.
