The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology is seeking a highly qualified person for the position of Visiting Scholar. This person must have over 8 years of experience in biomedical research and expertise in Hepatology and cholangiocyte biology (cellular reprogramming and trans-differentiation a Plus). The candidate must have a MD or PhD degree in biomedical science or a related field (e.g. pharmacology, toxicology, physiology, cell biology, chemistry, etc.). The candidate will be adept with molecular genetic techniques, cell culture, biochemistry and experienced using mouse models of disease. The qualified candidate will be highly motivated to work with a team of investigators. Successful applicants must be able to independently conduct experiments and will be responsible for supervising and training other team members.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
