Responsibilities:

At MLT, we create solutions by empowering our people to fulfill their passion for service. Â In support of our customer, we are seeking a Equipment Specialist Senior with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols.
Job Duties:
• Collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and developing specialized equipment-specific and supply chain information for lifecycle management decisions.Â
• Publications and documentation support: Developing and delivering Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Instructions and PTD.
• Provisioning support: Participating in Provisioning Conferences, assessing equipment component and sub-component installation procedures, provisioning publication projects, and identifying observations to enhance understanding of technical requirements and corrective actions.Â
• SE Support: Supporting SE events and ECP reviews to ensure logistics concerns are addressed and integrated into program products.Â
• Supply, Calibration, and Warranty support: Developing and maintaining itemized inventory and shipment databases up to the SECRET level for tracking GFP, including spare parts, shipments, OEM warranty coverage, and scheduled calibration.Â
• Ensuring timely calibration of fielded equipment and responding to all GCSS-MC Service Requests. Conducting itemized inventory of all systems before fielding, documenting undelivered components.Â
General Responsibilities Include:
• Experienced Logistics Analyst leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.
• Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards analyzes models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement and size, selection of transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, continuous moves, shipment to foreign customers, etc.Â
• Determines proper logistics support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operation area and other factors such as environmental and human factors.Â
• Provides mentorship and guidance to less experienced logistics analysts.
Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma Required.Â
• Eight (8) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
• Familiarity with equipment installation procedures, provisioning publication projects, and technical requirements assessment. Understanding of TFSMS, MICAPS, and GCSS-MC, as well as the Albany Publication website.Â
• Working knowledge of the SCM Request process, Warranty Support procedures, Supply Instruction SI 10197B-12/1A, and the Logistics Support Analysis 036 format.Â
• Must have a SECRET security clearance.
