Job Summary
The Performance Nutrition and Body Composition Lab and the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented student workers to join our team. Successful candidates will perform PNBC lab testing (i.e., BodPod and RMR) on clients, maintain the cleanliness of the lab, and communicate test results effectively. Training will be provided prior to the start of employment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform PNBC lab testing (BodPod and RMR) on clients.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the lab daily during shifts (vacuuming, sanitizing, laundry).
  • Understand and communicate PNBC test results with clients.
  • Provide strong communication and customer service, dealing with the public and sensitive health information.
  • Communicate efficiently and reliably with the PNBC leadership team as needed.
  • Check email communication multiple times throughout the day for updates.
  • Maintain client privacy throughout the testing process.
  • Work at least one shift per week (Monday-Thursday, 7:30-10:30am).
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive health information with confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a lab setting is a plus, but not required.
