Job Summary
This position is located in Highland Heights, Kentucky at the UK College of Medicine-Northern Kentucky Campus.
The Administrative Operations Coordinator:
1. Be responsible for completing the complex planning of special projects, programs and events regularly, as directed by the Associate Dean and office of Student Affairs. On behalf of the Associate Dean, collaborate with the Office of Medical Education (including regional campuses) to plan for and manage events such as student orientations, White Coat Ceremony, Convocation, Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Society induction, AOA Research Day, Senior Awards Ceremony, and Graduation, and Admissions events.
2. Serve as a point of contact to ensure campus Deans are apprised of all Student Affairs activities as well as to address questions and connect students/faculty/staff to the appropriate individuals or resources.
3. Provide vital central administrative coordination of UK medical students to ensure compliance with: matriculation requirements for the university and the College of Medicine; annual immunization documentation for University Health Services, UK Healthcare, and Veterans Affairs Health Care System; annual certification of review of all M.D. program policies; identification verification for university and UK Healthcare I.D. badge offices; mask fit testing documentation for University Health Services and UK Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control, etc.
