We are the captive Shared Service Provider for DHL Global Forwarding and DHL Freight (DGFF). We are an organization of more than 4,600 colleagues complemented by approximately 500 virtual FTE (i.e., bots applied in process automation). Our colleagues are based across six service delivery centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Chengdu, Manila, Bogota & Budapest. You will interact with people from all over the world and get the chance to a truly international organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide top-notch service within the Ocean Freight (OFR) Service line, supporting our DGFF regions and countries globally. The role involves ensuring compliance with customs regulations, managing invoice declarations, and continuously improving customs processes to minimize penalties and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners and coordinate with the internal GSC team for seamless process flow.
• Assist in providing support to various departments within the organization pertaining to process improvements.
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with other departments.
• Ensure KPIs are met.
• Actively participate in monthly and weekly BRM calls.

• Identify errors in invoice declarations.
• Manage amendment requests in the Dubai Trade application.
• Conduct Post Control Audits to ensure minimal penalties for DGF.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring standard business processes.
• Manage queues and share best practices.
• Proactively identify and share process gaps within the GSC CDZ team and monitor errors.

• Promote operational quality and ensure adherence to process SOPs.
• Perform error analysis and develop automation ideas for process improvement.

• Assist in process implementation and GSConnect reporting.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor´s degree. A degree in logistics, industrial engineering, management will be an advantage / Undergraduate degree 
• Tech-savvy with a good understanding of forwarding/logistics industry (mandatory).
• Knowledge of back-office operations and customs invoice declarations (mandatory).
• Experience with the Dubai Trade system is preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of job experience from logistics domain
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal / For BOG & CTU .
• Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - Preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective stakeholder and people management skills.
