Description
Leidos’ National Security Sector is seeking a Bilateral Operational Planning Analyst to support the MARCENT Operational, Analytical, and Management Services program at MacDill AFB, FL.
In this role, the analyst will contribute to the development of MARCENT support plans within the USCENTCOM AOR by providing operational planning analysis. Responsibilities include participating in USCENTCOM conferences, reviewing planning products, preparing MARCENT submissions in response to USCENTCOM requests, and ensuring all plans accurately reflect the deployment and employment of Marine forces. Additionally, the analyst will bring planning expertise to Component supporting plans for Combatant Command OPLANs and CONPLANs while offering contingency planning knowledge for joint, bilateral, and multilateral initiatives. They will attend various planning conferences and working groups—including joint, bilateral, multilateral, and coalition meetings—while delivering IPRs on planning efforts to COMUSMARCENT. Beyond planning, the analyst will develop assessments, briefs, information papers, and standard naval messages to support strategic, policy, campaign, and posture plan development. Their role also includes coordinating and managing conferences and internal MARCENT working groups, ensuring seamless planning support. Finally, they will participate in CENTCOM Battle Rhythm events—such as the Joint Planning Group, Joint Planning Board, and Operational Planning Teams—while providing contingency planning expertise for emergent operational needs.
