Leidos’ Defense Systems Persistent Surveillance Portfolio is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to join our team supporting the Persistent Surveillance Portfolio. In this expanded role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the program runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with program managers, engineers, government contracting officers, and play a key role in supporting the procurement process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage program documentation.
  • Maintain program calendars, deadlines, and milestones.
  • Assist with the procurement process, including researching potential vendors, preparing requisitions, and managing purchase orders.
  • Assist with travel arrangements and logistics for program meetings and conferences.
  • Manage program databases and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Prepare presentations and reports as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred) plus 4-8 years of relevant experience in program administration, preferably within a government contracting environment or Masters degree plus 2-6 years of relevant experience in program administration, preferably within a government contracting environment.
  • Proven experience supporting complex programs and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be a US citizen, possess an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, area

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on a radar program.
  • Background in engineering.
  • Highly organized, demonstrating the ability to work independently at times due to fast-paced and highly productive work environment
  • Experience working on radar programs
  • Previous military experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Ability to create design documentation, requirements specifications, and other technical documentation

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
