As a member of the HR team, your primary responsibility will be to support the recruitment process from start to finish. You will play a critical role in attracting and sourcing top talent, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring a seamless hiring experience. In addition to recruitment, you will offer guidance on performance management and employee relations, collaborating with senior management to build strong, positive relationships and support the organizations staffing needs.
Qualifications* you will bring to the table:
  • A Bachelors degree or higher education in Human Resources or related field
  • 2 to 5+ years of Corporate Recruitment experience
  • Recruitment experience in an Architecture or Engineering firm
  • Intermediate in Jobvite, Deltek Vantagepoint, Adobe Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong knowledge of the recruiting and hiring processes
  • Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal/phone/video conference and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Thorough knowledge of employment and interview-related laws and regulations

As a Team Member at Cushing Terrell, you will*
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Source, recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
  • Offer proactive recruiting assistance to hiring managers and principals
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings
  • Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Plan and implement a recruitment marketing, and social media branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants for positions you are responsible for
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates
  • Support new hire orientation/onboarding, internship orientation/onboarding, career fairs and internship recruitment
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Work with manager and HR team to help design and update job descriptions
  • Support and collaborate with other members of the HR team to enhance organizational appeal and programs by optimizing policies, compensation, and benefits to improve the employee experience, and managing employment inquiries
*The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
Your pay
The salary for this position is based on the location/s posted. If you are a candidate living outside of (this region/these regions), we still encourage you to apply as salary ranges may differ across states/cities/job markets.
  • Expected Range*: $55,000 to $75,000
  • The position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus
*The actual salary offered for the role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to; years of experience, certifications, location, level of job-related knowledge, and other job-related factors (as permitted by law).
