JOB DESCRIPTION

The Associate Digital Product Manager at Sherwin-Williams is responsible for the implementation and management of the product vision, roadmap and backlog across one or more interconnected digital customer experiences across mobile, web, in-store and other emerging technologies.

This cross-functional position achieves results through facilitation and collaboration with key stakeholders from across the business and information technology. The Associate Digital Product Manager will be responsible for the successful management and growth of the digital product(s) they are responsible for, from ideation through implementation, as well as ongoing optimization.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand, manage, and execute the product vision set by the Senior Product Manager, focused on creating differentiated customer experiences
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager, peers from marketing, user experience, design, technology, and the field personnel to align features and deliver continual improvement to the customer experience via digital product ecosystem
  • Day-to-day management and prioritization of an evolving product backlog, based on the strategic product vision and roadmap
  • Work closely with IT partners to scope, size, document requirements for, and release product features
  • Lead ongoing product performance reporting against brand goals, the product vision, and established product KPI’s
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and business performance via new features and functionalities
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive digital landscape to inform the product roadmap and backlog
  • Communicate and present well, with experience preparing and giving presentations to various stakeholders about customer experience and product performance.
  • Have experience with structured, hypothesis-driven product improvements, metrics analysis, consumer insights and design experimentation
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time and relocation assistance is available.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements

EDUCATION

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital product management, IT project management, SCRUM master, ecommerce execution, or digital product marketing
  • Experience working with and setting alignment with marketing, IT, UX and content partners in the delivery of digital features and functionalities
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting requirements for digital product features and functionalities
  • Experience managing, prioritizing, and executing digital product or IT backlogs
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting product performance data against established KPI’s

Preferred:

  • Experience in B2C or B2B ecommerce environments
  • AGILE or digital product certification from an established organization (Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, Hubspot, or other)

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Strong verbal and written communication and project management skills
  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of input (data, business stakeholders, client research, design) and arrive at high quality decisions.

Preferred:

  • Experience conducting user acceptance testing and documenting bugs, defects, and opportunities for user experience improvements
  • Knowledge of IBM WebSphere Commerce, Adobe Experience Manager
