JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • The Digital Delivery Associate Manager selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for a high-visibility delivery team providing product, application, and project leadership within the assigned area of the IT business. The incumbent collaborates with business and IT stakeholders and aligns the portfolio of IT projects with strategic objectives. The incumbent will effectively communicate and present recommendations, as well as guide by department practices to ensure their team executes a portfolio of IT projects that supports these strategic goals. This role will include management of vendor relationships within the portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Leadership & Supervision

  • Manages the activities of multiple sections or a discipline through subordinate supervisors and/or professionals.
  • Guides by function or department practices and well-defined management precedents.
  • Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
  • Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
  • Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
  • Responsible for supporting employee career development.
  • Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution.

Knowledge & Application

  • Receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect section or multiple disciplines. Decisions impact others in the immediate team and influences methods and techniques.
  • Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
  • Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.

Collaboration & Interaction

  • Interacts frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group professionals, involving matters between sections and multiple units.
  • Effectively communicates and presents results and recommendations across discipline.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa.

This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following fields: information technology (IT), project management or business administration. In lieu of a degree, at least 7 years of experience in IT.

Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in IT

Preferred

  • Experience delivering a digital product
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with the entire software development life-cycle i.e. requirements, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment and post production support.
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in web-app delivery, services programming (preferably Java), relational database management, and front-end UI/UX design preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and cloud architecture is a plus
  • Experience managing third-party software development teams and/or offshore development teams preferred.
