Correct and reliable accounting practices are immeasurable for every company. It is not only important to comply with all legal requirements, but also to correctly apply group and internal company guidelines. All relevant external parties need to be fully informed at all times. Additionally, topics such as compliance are constantly evolving and need to be addressed. We are looking for someone to take on this important task as Director Governance and Accounting Compliance (m/w/d).

YOUR TASKS

  • Ensuring compliance with finance requirements with regard to company guidelines and external tax regulations (IFRS)
  • Minimization of company risks through compliance with internal control mechanisms
  • Responsibility for the accuracy of company balance sheets
  • Acting as an interface for overall areas, such as taxes, finance, risk management, purchasing and legal departments
  • Contact for external institutions, e.g. public institutions and/or auditors
  • Responsibility for the introduction and constant further development of systems
  • Management of compliance and Purchase to Pay
  • Continuous further development of control standards and improvement opportunities for own area of responsibility

YOUR SKILLS

  • Relevant university or university of Applied Sciences degree in finance or economics
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, preferably within the DPDHL Group
  • Sound specialist knowledge of International Finance Guidelines (IFRS)
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects in compliance with defined guidelines
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Reliability, resilience and assertiveness
  • SVery good knowledge of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
