CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company is looking for an Air Force Working Capital Fund Financial SME to provide support for CSAG-S and GSD in the areas of Audit Readiness, Accounting, and Cash Management. Assistance is needed to develop financial procedures, provide quality assurance for standard operating procedures, and provide guidance for changes and improvements. This is a Part-Time (as needed) position.

The SME will:

  • Assist Government Subject Matter Experts (GSMEs) with developing financial procedures, providing quality assurance for standard operating procedures, providing guidance for changes and improvements, overseeing and assisting with the AFWCF accounting processes, preparation of financial audit readiness efforts, notice of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), System Change Request (Supply), and Audit Support.
  • Provide AFWCF accounting support to assist with overall management of the AFWCF, cash flow management, adhering to Federal Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (FEDGAAP) compliance activities, Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, AR(M) 1307 and SF 133 analysis, financial analysis support, pricing, execution reporting, and data systems support
  • Analyze issues revolving around the methods used for recording, classifying and summarizing the enormous amount of accounting data generated within the AFWCF and identify deficient processes and procedures and propose process improvements and/or identify accounting implications of any proposed changes.
  • Assist with change management activities within the supply chain through the development of standard operating procedures, cycle memos and training materials.
  • Applicant may also be required to help perform other AFWCF financial analytic tasks as required.

  • Knowledge of AFWCF logistics and financial processes in demand planning, item management, and budgeting.
  • Experience working with Air Force wholesale supply activities in either the Consolidated Sustainment Activity Group-Supply or the General Support Division.
  • Ability to document process steps for the AFWCF supply activities for both financial and logistics activities.
  • You must also have a working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

· A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).

· A minimum of 10 years of past experience working in a Working Capital Fund environment in Depot Maintenance, Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, or Financial Management.

Desirables:

· A Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).

· Certified Professional Logistician or Certified Defense Financial Manager.
