Job Overview

The Data Applications Specialist provides user and system support for SFTP applications and other data transfer services, including associated workflows, schedules, deployments, and configurations with meaningful use outcomes by providing technical and operational problem-solving support to internal users and clients. The Specialist acts as a subject matter expert for data transfer projects. The Specialist trains and educates internal users on designing, implementing, and troubleshooting file transfer automation using application and operating system tools.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or Computer-related field and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience involving corporate SFTP systems and processes. Related experience supporting other data transfer applications and protocols is beneficial.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in enterprise-class SFTP applications is required; experience administering Fortra GoAnywhere is highly preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing IT application projects is required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience administering Windows Server 2016+ is required.

• Extensive experience with configuring and diagnosing Windows file/folder permissions is highly preferred.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Linux OS is highly preferred, specifically: AWS EC2, EBS storage, and security groups.

Compensation

$34.44 - $43.05 hourly
