The Role

Are you a floor care expert with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for maintaining pristine environments? One of our respected healthcare facilities in Whittier, CA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Care Technician to elevate the cleanliness and safety of our facility through exceptional floor maintenance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Includes but not limited to

  • Perform professional floor care, including stripping, waxing, sealing, buffing, and burnishing hard floor surfaces
  • Operate and maintain floor machines, buffers, and related equipment with precision and safety
  • Inspect and monitor floor conditions across designated areas to ensure top-tier presentation and hygiene
  • Follow strict safety and infection control protocols appropriate for a healthcare environment
  • Collaborate with our Client and Operations team for scheduled deep cleaning routines
  • Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and notify supervisors of restocking needs

What It Takes To Be Successful
  • Proven experience in floor care (1year min.), specifically within a healthcare, commercial, or institutional setting
  • Proficiency with industrial floor machines and cleaning chemicals for hard floor surfaces
  • In-depth knowledge of stripping, waxing, buffing, and refinishing techniques
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety and sanitation standards
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or varied shifts as needed
