Our Sales and Distribution Leader will have full P&L responsibility for five Wilsonart Company Owned Distribution Locations (Metro) in the Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri Metro areas. This role will also have responsibility for translating corporate strategy into actionable objectives across multiple sites to deliver on growth, operational excellence, and profitability. Successful candidates will build and maintain a robust growth pipeline, ensuring all locations have the capability and capacity to meet demand. Lastly this role will have direct responsibility for customer-facing reports as well as site-level operations, office management, and logistics functions across all assigned locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across multiple locations, including Specification Representatives, Sales Representatives (Demand Creation), Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse Staff, and Drivers (Demand Fulfillment).
  • Full P&L ownership and leadership for multiple distribution locations.
  • Deliver annual revenue and EBITDA targets across all assigned markets.
  • Set and hold teams at each site accountable for achieving performance objectives.
  • Drive a multi-site growth agenda: project tracking, marketing execution, and sales alignment.
  • Build a demand pipeline through target projects, strategic accounts, and erosion recapture initiatives.
  • Expand customer base and implement regional sales and marketing programs tailored to each sites market conditions.
  • Balance customer satisfaction with enterprise-wide interests and profitability goals.
  • Host customer events and presentations at multiple location showrooms.
  • Establish and oversee operational KPIs including inventory accuracy, receivables, labor utilization, and overtime across all sites.
  • Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance across all locations.
  • Talent Management: Develop local leadership, build bench strength across the region, and address performance gaps. Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and developing team members at all assigned locations.

  • Experience leading operations and sales across multiple distribution locations.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level vision into clear site-level execution.
  • Advanced financial acumen and prior full P&L responsibility across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of Wilsonarts value proposition and the full decision-making value chain from demand creation to fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell value in the building materials industry.
  • High accountability and a strong drive for results.
  • Proven ability to lead and align a geographically distributed team across varied job functions.
  • Track record of developing high-performing teams and promoting top talent.
  • Effective conflict management and resolution skills.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize across sites.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between sites.
  • Full P&L responsibility for multiple locations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (1 year of experience may substitute for 1 year of degree).
Experience:
  • 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in sales management.
  • 2+ years of multi-site distribution management experience preferred.
  • Experience in the building materials industry is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods; occasional lifting of materials (10-20 lbs).
Environment: Primarily office and warehouse environments; travel required between sites.
