Overview

Velociti Services is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. The QA Specialist will play a key role in maintaining high standards by ensuring products, services, or processes meet established quality criteria. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Perform inspections and audits of products, materials, or services according to company standards.

• Document and report quality issues or discrepancies to appropriate departments.

• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality-related issues.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and other quality assurance activities.

• Support the development and implementation of QA policies, procedures, and standards.

• Collaborate with operations, production, or service teams to promote a culture of quality.

• Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices.

• High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications in QA is a plus.

• Prior experience in a quality assurance or inspection role preferred.

• Basic understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Working conditions may consist of extreme exposure to heat/cold weather conditions, involving both indoor and outdoor tasks
• Occasional exposure to hazardous environments and conditions might be experienced
