Responsibilities

  1. Load Planning: Develop and optimize loading plans for outbound shipments, ensuring efficient use of space in transportation vehicles while adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.

  2. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule truck booking.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, transportation, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution of loading and shipping processes.

  4. Data Analysis and Reports: Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the outbound

  5. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding their orders, shipping schedules, and any potential delays or issues.

  6. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and process improvements in the outbound load planning process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, preferably in a load planning or outbound shipping role.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with load planning software or optimization tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess shipping data and optimize load plans.
  • Ability to analyze transportation routes and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external customers.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in load planning, documentation, and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple shipments and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
