DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transport Front Desk to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Allocate driver and vehicle resource to transport plan
• Working in a team environment
• Working in a safe manner
• Processing paperwork
• Operating IT-systems as required
• Working within a pressurised environment
• Dealing with driving and warehouse colleagues
• Complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
• Representing DHL in a professional manner to customers
  

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Understand regulations applying to the operation of a transport department
• Follow customer specific procedures
• Maintain regular contact with Driving team
• Accuracy of work with computer systems
• Processing paperwork relating to driver deliveries
• Drivers are correctly briefed and debriefed at the beginning and end of the day's work
• Comply with appropriate working time legislation
• process inbound and outbound deliveries
• Some one who can work occasionally on weekends and holiday covers
