Position Overview

Leidos is expanding its team, seeking several Principal Linux Systems Administrators (SA-3) to contribute to this growing effort.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage daily activities related to the configuration and operation of IT systems.
Optimize system operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Assist users in accessing and utilizing IT systems effectively, providing guidance and support as needed.
Configure and manage UNIX or other applicable operating systems, and implement enhancements for improved reliability and performance.
Monitor and resolve problems across client/server, storage, and network devices, including mobile devices.
Diagnose and resolve Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problems, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
Basic Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years' experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Five (5) years of additional SA experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Must have Linux administration experience
Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
