Leidos’ Defense Systems Land Systems Business Area is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Engineer to join our growing Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role will report directly to the Program Manager and will have a large impact on developing relevant solutions for our nation’s warfighters.

Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring the application of technical standards and specifications, complying with internal policies and procedures
- Manage and coordinate Materiel Release (MR) packages, Type Classification Packages, Engineering Change Process (ECP) packages, Material Work Order (MWO) packages and Nomenclature packages
- Integrate and synchronize the development of technical manuals, training support plans, maintenance engineering efforts, provisioning parts lists, repair parts, special and unique tools, and test equipment
- Collaborate with internal functional organizations (logistics, program, technical, contracts, legal, financial, business development), external customer, to assist in the review/update of logistics support related contract documentation
- Completes all task required to obtain type classification/reclassification and Full Materiel Release requirements in support of DVE Milestones
- Recording changes to property records for all transactions as required
- Plan and develop logistics program activities from conceptual stage through the life cycle of the product to meet product support for weapon systems acquisition, to include developing programmatic milestone schedules, requirements determination, development, deployment and sustainment and disposal
- Analyze total life cycle sustainment costs
- Provide logistics input into different types of funding lines such as Operation Maintenance Army (OMA), Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF), Sustaining Support Technical Systems (SSTS), and OPS-29 budget submissions
- Develop Basis of Issue Plan Feeder Data (BOIP) and develop, maintain and distribute the Army's organizational requirements via direct coordination with the U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency (USAFMSA) and TRADOC proponents to enable the Army to organize, man, train, equip, sustain, station and deploy the force
- Ability to define a full ILS Program of work, including creation of an Integrated Support Plan and associated ILS element plans
Basic Qualifications:
- Batchelor’s Degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 6-10 years of relevant experience.
- Skills to conduct Supportability Analysis in sufficient detail to influence system design; conducting analysis and trade-off among architecture design alternatives; and developing and controlling a Total Cost of Ownership / Life Cycle Cost (TCO/LCC) model
- Skills and knowledge to perform Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) analysis including Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Levels of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
- Also, the ability to construct Reliability Block Diagrams using proprietary software tools
- Must be a US Citizen, possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance or able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville/ North Alabama, AL area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spares Ranging and Scaling using software tools
- Management and delivery of the Technical Documentation program in accordance with Army Equipment Support Publication (AESP) standards)
- Identification and documentation of Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation (PHS&T) solutions
- Identification and documentation of disposal solutions
- Skills and knowledge regarding software support
- Skills and knowledge of Obsolescence Management processes
- Skills and knowledge with respect to the construction, management and maintenance of a Logistics Information Repository (LIR)
- Skills and knowledge of Configuration Management
- Experience of working within Agile, (including SAFe) delivery approaches

Pay Range:
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
