Job Overview
The Triage Behavioral Health Clinician/Clinical Supervisor, under general direction, provides immediate mental health support within primary care settings. They conduct rapid assessments using evidence-based tools and deliver targeted interventions within 24-72 hours to increase access to care. This clinician integrates behavioral health services through real-time consultations and brief interventions while maintaining an active presence within the primary care team and facilitating warm handoffs between providers. The role encompasses diagnosis, evaluation, treatment planning, and short-term crisis intervention sessions within a brief program framework, utilizing approaches such as problem-solving therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and substance abuse treatment. It also provides education and develops behavioral change plans to address health-impacting behaviors. As part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the clinician ensures the seamless coordination of physical and mental healthcare, requiring strong clinical judgment, interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced medical environment, while also participating in professional development opportunities. The staff member will also be responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight to licensed and non-licensed staff.
Minimum Requirements
Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the California Behavioral Science Board.
Master's level degree required.
Previous experience supervising MSWs and/or ASWs.
Completion of 15 units in Supervision coursework.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children required.
Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience required.
A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, or English and another predominant language of the population served, preferred.
Compensation
$82,867.20 - $103,584.00 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer

The range is subject to change.
