The Operations Manager position oversees the administrative office, warehouse, dispatching and cleaning up contaminates. Ensures compliance in documentation, environmental and managing staffing. Manages project documentation and timelines. Overall, the Operations Manager supports the company in achieving its goals by effectively and efficiently managing the operations side of the branch and project to ensure the project meets, and even exceeds, the customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates and manages databases to capture contact information and follows up with all potential network partners.
  • Creates and manages databases for all contractors, including categories, contact information, insurance limits and expiration dates. Ensures all COIs are current and up to date.
  • Researches to find acceptable subcontractors for reconstruction work.
  • Works in conjunction with Mold Remedator and their assessment plan. Manages and trains warehouse and cleaning personnel to meet requirements of assessment plan. Assists in cleaning as needed.
  • Dispatches trucks and crews.
  • Create and manage inventory, including products and air movers. Manges check out and in process.
  • Create and manage job cost and profit spreadsheet for each project.
  • Ensures all photos uploaded to remediation system are coded and ready for estimating.
  • Supports Project Managers to ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted timely.
  • Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
  • Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • 2 years experience in similar roles preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and people skills to represent the company successfully and clearly to colleagues and customers.
  • Must have computer software proficiency with Windows, MS Office, Outlook and Microsoft Project
  • Must be organized and self-motivated, pay attention to detail and require little direct supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
  • Familiar with estimating software (Xactimate experience is a plus)
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent ability to complete required paperwork correctly and punctuality
  • Hard working team player who can easily adapt to changing needs
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in all, including in varying weather conditions.
  • Positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business principals, financial statements, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers or regulators.
  • Must be able to manage others and inspire them to complete tasks timely and accurately. Treat everyone with respect.
  • Preferred qualifications, but not required:

• OSHA training and certification
