About the Role:

We are in search of a Welder to strengthen our Fabrication team. This individual will use welding tools (i.e., Tig welders, lathes, mills, grinders, soldering and brazing torches/irons, rotary tables, mass spectrometers (leak detector) and hand tools) to assemble and leak check welded assemblies to meet blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate wide array of welding tools to fabricate parts and assemblies, including transfer lines.
• Use ERP system to ensure inventory and job accuracy.
• Troubleshoot welded part and assembly issues.
• Work with team lead to design and fabricate fixtures for assembly and manufacturing needs in order to meet production schedules and objectives.
• Understand and work from solid models, prints, and sketches, and understand verbal and written engineering instructions.
• Use precision measuring equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years as a welding experience working on low-volume, high mix parts.
• Experience with, and functional knowledge of, precision measurement devices; power, pneumatic, and hand tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical/trade school diploma
