Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a wide range of events for Straumann Group North America and will be expected to create and drive cross-functional teams across departments to effectively meet or exceed expectations regarding content, theme, messaging, communications, logistics, staffing, and budget. This position will report into the Senior Tradeshow Manager.

Job Responsibilities
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Strategically plan and execute strategic scope of in-person and virtual events, including but not limited to internal sales meetings and corporate events, symposia, senior management events, webinars, key customer recognition events and employee events.
• Proactively and strategically scout venues and make solid and specific recommendations for venue selection for large scale events. Develop presentations of options and work to ensure consensus
• Develop a process document and flow chart that ensures a smooth process for review and approval of all events and contracts; ensure stakeholders such as MarCom and Finance are on board with the process
• Plan, gain approval on and manage mid to large size event budgets
• Work seamlessly with other Marketing Communications department team members to strategically plan all elements needed for event branding, advertising and marketing
• Manage all event logistics, budget, contracts, vendors, and purchase requisitions
• Organize and oversee travel logistics/management for events
• Ensure all events have distinct sales and marketing KPIs and that a final report out is generated to show measurement against those KPIs (sales amounts, attendees, employee satisfaction, etc.)
• Create and lead a Core Team for each event; communicate and manage expectations for event execution to project team
• Lead event execution on the day of the event, including the development of an event team on the day of the event
• Identify and allocate the appropriate resources, equipment, and products for the event
• Lead communication to all stakeholders on the event logistics, travel coordination, and expectations
• Execute pre-during-post event coordination and logistics, including both on site and in office with a hands-on approach
• Lead, communicate and execute each event by working with Lead Team, Marketing, Sales and Education teams to identify event objectives, strategies and tactics, while managing expectations
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and attendees for each event, both internal and external

Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-7 years in a professional work environment required
• Minimum 5-7 years in an event role required
• Proven full scope event management skills required
• Experience managing large budgets desired
• Project management experience desired
• Ability to responsibly prioritize in a time sensitive environment
• Flexible team player, even when in high pressure situations or against tight deadlines
• High energy with a proven track record in fast paced dynamic organizations
• Strong professional ethic and demeanor
• Detail oriented
• Clear and concise communication, with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
• Self-driven with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Proven negotiation skills

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
• Office based position, with some ability to work remotely when approved
• Flexibility to travel nights, weekends and holidays as needed
• Travel to events required
• Potential travel to venues for scouting visits
