SUMMARY
The Community Banking Manager is responsible for actively engaging in the sales process and a partner relationship to ensure the attainment of individual and department goals and objectives contributes to the profitability and growth of the bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships. The position will generate and grow quality Commercial, C&I, Real Estate, Consumer and Commercial Equipment Leasing loans. In addition, the position will market deposit products, further contributing to the Bank’s growth.  This position will leverage customer leads and other lead generating techniques to identify new prospects and cross-selling opportunities; conducts discussion with prospects to understand background, identify needs, and clearly communicate potential solutions.
Ensures compliance with established Bank policies and procedures.  Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but  not limited to the following: GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act), Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation DD (Truth in Savings Act) Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd Frank Act), Elder Abuse Laws, Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program, Right to Financial Privacy Act (state and federal) and Community Reinvestment Act.
REQUIRED DUTIES
1. Â Â Generates new business through prospecting, outside calling, networking and referrals. Makes a substantial number of in-person calls and networking to prospects and clients, requiring extensive automobile travel.Â
2. Â Â Develops business relationships in the community, directly and through referral base and executes sales strategies, marketing plans and business development programs.Â
3. Â Â Represents Hanmi Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs, business and industry-related organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate.
4. Â Â Maintains an awareness of marketplace products, practices, rates and changes to ensure capitalization on competitive opportunities.
5. Â Â Collaborates with prospects and existing clients to determine their financial needs and formulates a relationship development plan that specifies ways in which products and services can meet their business or personal objectives.
6. Â Â Maintains working knowledge of commercial loans, business deposit products, foreign exchange, trade finance, cash management and investment referral opportunities.Â
7.   Maintains and applies a thorough understanding of the bank’s credit policy and all necessary business practices to ensure the submission of accurate and complete loan application packages. Ensure all loans comply with regulatory requirements.Â
8. Â Â Generates appropriate transactions, produces lending packages and communicates with Credit regarding opportunities.
9. Â Â Works with the corporate marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement business development initiatives.
10. Â Interacts in an effective and professional manner with all levels of Bank personnel and existing and prospective clients demonstrating commitment to quality client service.
11. Â Represents Hanmi Bank by actively participating in outside civic and community affairs, business and industry-related organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate.
12. Â Responsible for tracking individual performance goals and results in a timely and accurate manner for reporting purposes.

15.  Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions.  The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. Â The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Â Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.
•   Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, and Accounting or related major from an accredited college or university preferred; or more than 10 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in all areas of lending and supervisory skills.  Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
•   Comprehensive knowledge of bank products and services including Bank Secrecy Act compliance is required. Â
•   Strong knowledge of various phases of sales management, including planning, goal setting, project/time management and selling techniques. Â
•   Excellent business development and client relationship skills.Â
•   Proven new business development / origination experience.
•   Detail orientated with exceptional sales and analytical skills.
•   Requires the ability to create and conduct presentations and prepare final proposals for qualified prospects as a final step in establishing financial relationships. Â
•   Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer system; word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
•   Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
•   Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
•   Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
•   Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in all lending activities and terminology.
•   Intermediate knowledge of related state and federal lending and compliance regulations, and other Bank lending policies.
•   Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
•   Ability to work with no supervision while performing duties.
•   Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
Pay $220,000 - $250,000 per year. The salary reflects the full, reasonably expected salary range for this position. Salary is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Successful candidates may be eligible for bonus, stock, commissions, and incentives at the Company’s sole discretion.
