Sumaria is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Senior Structures Equipment Specialist to support QF-16.
Job Description:
- Highly recommend experience in aircraft structural and sustainment specific to the F-16 aircraft.
- Shall support as the technical content manager for structural systems and TOs assigned. Shall assist to establish the requirement for and prepare TCTOs and TOs for both field and depot level maintenance operations, repair inspection and testing of the complete weapon systems. Shall assist to perform verifications of technical data as a member of the technical verification team and pre/post publication review group to determine technical accuracy of data and proper sequence of the technical content.
- Shall support program requirements to include: D043/D143C, IDTODS, FIN, Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS), FSS, ETIMS, F-16 OCM, Haystack and other databases relating to the aircraft and its systems to help determine problem areas on assigned systems and items. Shall assist with recommending and developing executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems.
- Shall assist to accomplish studies, review and analysis of technical problems/malfunctions affecting assigned equipment generated from a variety of sources including but not limited to DRs, AFTO Form 22s, MSTG/SSG, telephone calls, IDEAS and aircraft mishaps. The Contractor shall recommend appropriate corrective actions. When corrective actions are presented by using commands, contractors, and others, the Contractor shall assist to evaluate for technical adequacy and economic feasibility. The Contractor shall assist to determine method of implementation (e.g. TCTO or TO change).
- Shall support all aspects and levels of program IPTs to include but not limited to, engineering, program management, other equipment specialists, lead and chief engineers and civilian and military leadership within the F-16 Division/FB Directorate, other AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRL, HQ AFMC, ACC, DoD, EPAFs, prime weapon system contractor and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel.
- Shall support various standing F-16 activities and organizations including, but not limited to, the F-16 Consolidated Board, F-16 JMCCT/B, and F-16 System Safety Groups including but not limited to the SSG, SSWG, and MSTG). Shall participate in formal and informal F-16 program reviews.
- Shall assist Government equipment specialists, integrators and engineers in conducting special research projects as assigned. The Contractor shall support the USAF PM in all tasks related to this effort.
- Shall support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/technical data verification. The Contractor shall assist to report findings, kit issues, and corrective actions and make recommendations to the responsible engineer or PM.
- Shall support feasibility studies and technical evaluations to ensure that systems, subsystems and equipment being developed are mutually compatible and serve to meet overall operational and technical requirements.
Required Skills/Education/Experience:
High School and 22 years experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 18 years work experience, or a Master's degree and 10-15 years experience.
Security Clearance Required: Must have Active SECRET.
