Lutron is seeking a dynamic Information Technology Applications Developer to join the Information Technology (IT) team at Lutron's Global Headquarters in Coopersburg PA. As an Information Technology Application Developer at Lutron,your efforts will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems.

In this role, you will drive a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality solutions within Salesforce to support various areas of operation throughout the business. 

There are a variety of technologies and concepts within this role that you will encounter from day one, such as: 

• Salesforce clouds including Sales, Service, Field Service, Marketing, Commerce, Revenue, and Experience 

• Software development methodologies such as Agile and SAFe 

• Understanding best practices and QA for SaaS 

• Platform integrations using APIs, webservices, and enterprise integration tools 

• An understanding of authorization and authentication controls 

• Work with the Technology Lead and oversee peers on various platforms to drive convergence, execute implementation, and overcoming obstacles in Salesforce 

• Interface with internal stakeholders throughout all project phases, including understanding business requirements 

• Manage all phases of multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality 

• Expertise in one or more IT disciplines and cross-skill with peers  

• Drive IT application issues to resolution and lead lessons learned 

• Independently implements IT solutions with a hands-on attitude and a strong work ethic 

• Collaborate with team members, other departments, and IT management team using strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Web Science or Mathematics required

• Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned 

• Minimum 4 years experience in a related field 

• Salesforce experience preferred, include one or more Salesforce certifications 

• Experience with CI/CD tools, like Copado or Gearset preferred 
• Must live within commutable distance of Coopersburg PA to accommodate in-office schedule
