Job Summary
The Athletics Basketball Video Director manages coaching videos for practices and games, providing support for analysis, scouting, and training. The individual will edit opponent videos, maintain video software, and coordinate film exchanges. The role includes managing equipment, assisting with TV requests, and producing multimedia content. The Video Director troubleshoots technical issues, supports coaches, and collaborates with staff. The individual should have expertise in video systems and software, organizational skills, and knowledge of scouting processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with video systems/software (XOS, Thundercloud, Adobe, DVSport, Daktronic, Synergy Sports).
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of video editing and production.
- Familiarity with scouting and game analysis.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to travel and attend events.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- TV production and multimedia knowledge preferred.
- Sports broadcasting and publicity familiarity a plus.
Must adhere to all UK, SEC & NCAA rules and regulations.
