Responsibilities

The Project Manager, Warehousing Integration is responsible for leading and executing integration projects that enable smooth and efficient data exchange between warehouse systems and internal/external partners. This role focuses on EDI (X12), XML, and API-based solutions to support warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or equivalent.) Additionally, 4-8 years of experience in systems integration, with a focus on EDI, XML, and API development. 3+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain IT preferred. Project management experience is strongly desired; PMP or Agile certification is a plus. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration. 
  • Design, develop, and maintain integration processes using EDI (X12), XML, and APIs for warehousing and logistics platforms.
  • Coordinate project timelines, testing, and go-lives with trading partners, customers, and internal teams.
  • Lead the onboarding of new partners and transaction sets, including setup, configuration, and testing.
  • Support the day-to-day operation of EDI transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
  • Translate and map data between warehouse management systems (WMS), ERPs, and external systems.
  • Monitor integration workflows and proactively troubleshoot data errors or failures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Operations and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
  • Document integration specifications, mappings, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform quality assurance on data interfaces and support UAT for system changes.
  • Ensure all integration processes comply with industry standards, internal guidelines, and security requirements.
  • Escalate critical issues, track resolution, and maintain open communication across project teams.
  • Improve existing integration frameworks and identify opportunities for automation and performance gains.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Comply with all company policies, including C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



QUALIFICATIONS

  • In-depth knowledge of EDI standard trading documents (940/945, 943/944, 832, 846, 947 and 997.)
  • Proficient in XML, JSON, and API-based integration (REST/SOAP.)
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle.)
  • Familiar with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across data formats and communication protocols.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical language for business teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to interpret and respond to technical documents, client requirements, and complex business processes.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex issues.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.
