Responsibilities


Position Summary

The Senior Inclusion and Engagement Coordinator assists the People Development Team with onboarding and engagement events centered around PSA’s values. The Sr. Engagement Coordinator will execute the PSA Engagement Strategy, which includes community outreach, event planning, and team member recognition. The Coordinator will provide administrative and logistical coordination and support to ensure the success of engagement events, projects, and programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan PSA engagement events including community outreach, volunteer, and company-wide events.
  • Coordinate volunteers for events, manage event budget, work with vendors, order promotional items for events.
  • Identify opportunities for PSA to engage within the communities we work and live (including all PSA bases, with a focus on DAY and CLT).
  • Recruit and communicate volunteer opportunities to engage team members and support PSA Community events.
  • Maintain positive relationships between PSA and clients, partners, team members, and the community.
  • Identify opportunities for PSA to gain exposure in the community, give back to community, and keep within budget.
  • Represent PSA at community events.
  • Coordinate promotional item orders for PSA and community events within budget and focused on the audience focus.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale.
  • Assist with logistics of New Hire Orientation including materials, scheduling dates, locations, calendar invitations, leader participation, and facilitators as needed.
  • Actively involved in executing the engagement strategy for PSA Airlines.
  • Create and execute engagement calendar with engagement team; keeping internal portal calendar updated.
  • Manage the use and distribution of Volunteer Dollars Budget: develop communication plan and coordinate fund disbursement and reimbursement.
  • Maintains records and reports for employee recognition, event participation reports, budgets, etc.
  • Administer milestone program by running reports, identifying milestones, assembling pins and mailing to leader for presentation of pins.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Specifics


Qualifications

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of administrative support in an office setting.
  • At least two years’ experience planning, organizing and executing events.
  • Strong planning/organization skills.
  • Ability to facilitate relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Demonstrates high attention to details.
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment and meet deadlines in an aggressive growth environment.
  • Proven experience in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to speak/read/write in English.
  • If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.

Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Director of People Development and Inclusion.

Authorities: None

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
