The Staff Surveyor is responsible for supervising field crews and survey technicians to ensure the successful execution of large-scale land surveying projects. This role collaborates closely with other Project Surveyors and teams to meet project scope, schedule, and quality standards as defined by the Survey Project Manager.
Coordinate with professional surveyors and project teams to execute survey scopes and timelines in alignment with project objectives
Supervise and provide direction to field crews and survey technicians on large-scale land surveying projects
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including responsibility for signing and sealing plats, field notes, and drawings
Mentor and train technicians on state-specific survey requirements, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures, and company standards
Support the achievement of company goals by performing additional tasks as assigned
