We are currently looking for a skilled IT Contractor to join our IT team in Cheyenne, WY for a three-month period.


PURPOSE OF POSITION

Reporting directly to the Corporate IT Manager, the IT Contractor is responsible for delivering IT technical support at Nortrak’s manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will assist with setting up computers and performing various IT tasks as needed.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the setup and configuration of computers and other IT equipment.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates on existing systems.
  • Follows standards and maintains assets in an asset management system.
  • Collaborate with IT team members and other stakeholders to complete projects and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Travel to various locations as needed to provide IT support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications (Cicco CCNA or equivalent, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, MCP, Virtualization, AWS, Azure) are a plus.
  • Experience in IT support or related field preferred.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel if required.

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing.
  • Must be able to lift or handle up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Periodic travel will be required which includes walking, standing, sitting, flying and driving from short to long periods of time.
