We’re looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer, SRE for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is fulltime. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the role

The Lead Cloud Engineer is primarily responsible for serving as a technical lead while actively engaging in hands-on tasks. This role requires a high standard of excellence, strong written and verbal communication skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to conduct in-depth technical analyses of services and technologies. Responsibilities will include governance, support, and the integration and growth of our cloud infrastructure. Additional duties will involve architecting, planning, specifying, and building new solutions. This role also encompasses implementing plans, managing risks, and collaborating with technical and engineering teams to enhance system stability and minimize the impact of downtime on solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision and monitor staging/production cloud services
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud services
• Apply OS, application, and hardware updates/patches
• Monitor and maintain backups and recovery operations/services
• Implement and manage infrastructure services like VMs, storage, networking, security groups
• Working On-Call as needed

About you

To be ahead of the pack, you should have:

• 7+ years of experience in cloud administration
• Hands-on experience with Azure Architecture. AWS architecture experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Databases, network, application integration, monitoring & alerting, Identity & Access Management.
• Knowledge of Web Servers, Windows / Linux Services / OS Security
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration / Azure AAD, DNS, DHCP, RDWeb
• Understanding of Cloud Storage / Storage security / IAM etc.
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Load Balancers, application gateways, CRR, Azure vaults, familiar with IaC, cloud automation, Azure DevOps
• Preferred Certifications: Azure Administrator

• Good personal computer and business solutions software skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
