A postdoctoral associate position is immediately available at the T.E. Starzl Transplantation Institute (Univ. of Pittsburgh, PA, USA) to work in the field of extracellular vesicles and the regulation of the immune response during pregnancy. The projects will investigate mechanisms of cell-to-cell communication through extracellular vesicles in the context of feto-maternal and transplant tolerance.

We seek a qualified applicant with a Ph.D. or MD/Ph.D. degree in a biomedical field with 0-2 years of post-doctoral experience, preferably in the field of extracellular vesicles. Relevant knowledge and skills include knowledge in the biology of extracellular vesicles, basic immunology, cell and molecular biology, experience in cell culture and biological imaging, and computer abilities.
