We have a few openings for a Subsea Field Service Technician. This is a contract-to-hire role through one of our clients. Our client is within the offshore pipeline industry, they manufacture and install pipeline connectors. You would start out strictly in shop, which is based in Houston, TX, doing preventative maintenance and maintenance of returning equipment. After your initial 6-months, you will begin going offshore to fulfill service requests. This role requires a strong hydraulic and mechanical background.
A service request is typically a pipeline connector installation. Two technicians are sent out at a time, each working a solo 12 hour shift. Each hitch offshore is typically 10-28 days. All travel is provided to and from the vessel.
