Epsilon Systems Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a full-time WAF Coordinator II in National City, CA.
Job Summary: Responsible for developing WAFs utilizing the Electronic Work Authorization Form System (eWAFS); for work control and controlling tag-out of equipment using Electronic Shift Operations Management System (eSOMS) and to work with ship's force to install and remove tags in accordance with established availability schedule. Responsibilities also include daily coordination and reporting of WAFs and Tag-Outs (T-O) on assigned ship within established objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure WAF/T-O employees have minimum ESOMS/eWAFs certification prior to being dispatched to perform work
Concur or request modification to published PMS schedule
Verify T-Os are in accordance with applicable documents, Technical Drawings and EOSS
Complete and submit Work Authorization Forms (WAFs) for each PM or repair task
Request Tag-Outs (T-O) in accordance with PMS schedule
Hold daily pre-shift briefing with WAF/T-O employees
Distribute T-O to be hung to WAF/T-O employees
Document WAF/T-O using ESOMS and eWAFS
Hold daily pre-shift briefing and end of day review for next day expected WAF/T-Os with 3-M Coordinator
Work closely with EDO to coordinate critical path WAF/T-O tasks
Be the SME for all T-O's during the avail.
Develop WAF's during advanced planning phases.
Required Qualifications:
High School Graduate or equivalent with working knowledge of ships and ship systems
5+ years of prior Military experience or equivalent shipyard experience
Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and manage time effectively, including managing and meeting deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated understanding of ships and ship systems
Ability to read Technical Drawings and use of the Navy Engineering Operational Sequencing System (EOSS)
Ability to provide input to Technical Procedures, standards and work instructions
Ability to work well with all levels of personnel - internally, externally and ships force
Strong communication skills to work with multiple organizations onboard ship, on the base or in the shipyard
Highly motivated with proven ability to work independently with multiple crews
Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline team environment
Proven ability as a team player and a team leader
Understand conditions required to commence work
Strong demonstrated skills in computer applications including Maximo, ESOMS, eWAFs and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) are required
Strong knowledge of the Tag-Out requirements onboard ship for electrical and mechanical isolation using Tag-Out Users Manual LCS Pilot Revision 7.
Ability to coordinate ship schedule and equipment/system tag-out impact.
Highly motivated with willingness to work outside of the San Diego homeport.
Able to obtain and maintain access to military and government installations and private shipyards.
Pay Range
The pay range for this is $32.00 to $35.00 per hour. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.

Work may be performed in confined spaces, noisy environments, heavy industrial conditions, high traffic areas, office environment, meeting rooms and multiple locations; also in outside conditions ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
