Job Summary
Accounts Payable is an integral part of University Financial Services and serves the entire University in settlement of valid invoices/claims for goods and services. This position is responsible for effectively interpreting, applying and communicating University Policies/Business Procedures and Federal/State regulations to internal and external clients and customers. A comprehensive understanding and effective use of the Accounts Payable module of SAP is required to ensure that all payments are accurately and efficiently processed. Collaborating with Campus and Hospital Purchasing and other OT departments to effectively and efficiently provide procurement to payment services while employing sound stewardship and internal controls is required.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Windows, Word, Excel, SAP Navigation, basic accounting terminology, and interpersonal and communication skills.
