(SI) Foundry Worker - Military veterans preferred

Description:

Must in the COMPANY'S opinion, have adequate experience and knowledge to conduct skillfully the production work of one or more of the various areas of operation in the Foundry, which includes:

• Charge Makeup, Material and Supplies Handling
• Refractory Care and Installation
• Melting
• Centrifugal Casting
• Core Ramming
• Shakeout, Casting Cleaning, and Heat-treat
• Cab Crane Operator

and such other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time to this classification. Temporary assignments to any non-production plant activities as outlined for Foundry Helper are also contemplated in this job classification. May conduct any production operation to which assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to ascend and descend large equipment.
• Ability to lift, push and pull heavy items.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision to production standards and requirements.
• Availability for shift work and overtime required.
